Tolga Ors is the Managing Director of New Space Consulting Ltd with a strong track record in project management and writing winning proposals for co-funding from various organisations including ESA, UKSA, Austrian Research Promotion Agency FFG and others.

With nearly 30 years in the space sector, Tolga has worked across organisations including Intelsat, Inmarsat, OneWeb, AST SpaceMobile, CGI, the Future AI and Robotic for Space Hub, and the Alan Turing Institute. He holds an MSc in Satellite Communications and a PhD from the University of Surrey, an MSc in Project Management from George Washington University, and an MSc with Distinction in Computational Cognitive Neuroscience — with a focus on AI — from Goldsmiths, University of London. He currently leads the Mars Tumbleweed R&D team and serves as an advisor to Orbital Robotics.

His work spans technology transfer, public-private partnerships, and the application of AI and robotics in space. A consistent thread throughout his career has been using space capabilities to deliver real-world impact — including the use of Earth Observation and satellite communications in disaster response to save lives.
