BIZU Space is a Brazilian rocket-technology startup recognized as a Strategic Defense Company (EED) by the Ministry of Defense. We develop advanced propulsion systems to accelerate Brazil’s access to space and strengthen the country’s role in the global space ecosystem. Founded by ITA engineers, BIZU gained national traction in 2023 through its participation in the development of the MLBR – Brazilian MicroLauncher, alongside seven other aerospace companies. Our hydrogen peroxide/Jet-A liquid rocket engine, ARION, was officially classified as a Strategic Defense Product (PED). BIZU also established one of Brazil’s first dedicated liquid propulsion test fields, where ARION and future propulsion systems are developed and validated. We also design and build satellite and deployer systems for space applications, supporting national missions and enabling new access-to-space capabilities.
